Cxbx compatibility list (Updated December 9, 2012)

This is something I've been meaning to re-write lately. Now that I have a chance to do it, my internet is not working too well (Comcast wireless). So we'll have to settle for the plain-old text version. My last list was on geocities (which was shut down last month), so I've managed to add every game that actually does something here. So without further adieu... here it is.

    We get requests for JSRF alot! This game is going to be a lot of work because we don't have the XDK it uses (4134) (if it was a 4361, I would have done it already. I can test 4134 against 4361 and others to see if there are any similarities.

    It's a good thing I fixed most of the issues with Panzer (HLE wise) because since Panzer and JSRF were made by SmileBit, we can assume they use the same engine. So almost everything that Panzer uses, we can assume JSRF does too. Don't worry, it's on my todo list.

    But i will die in the future but i wan´t that game perfect it´s just my dream because XBOX DVD Damage a lot on Xbox and this is the way can i play on PC ;). The graphics is not bigger of that game it just like Flash Player but not strong then the new games from pc having now ;).
    For Example Mirror´s Edge :P.

    Unsure if you have played Kingdom under fire Heroes or crusaders yet... but it was one of the rare xbox games that flew under the radar but was damn near the best tactical rts game ever made, even beating Total war and age of series on the pc in terms of difficulty for player vrs AI. It was actually fun losing in the game too ironically.

    Anyway don't let the name full you. It just never got advertised properly. It is hands down one of the most elite games ever made. I still dream about playing it on pc after so many years. And im running 3 gtx 260's in this rig. It was just that good.

    P.S. Hell no am I talking about the 360 version, blueside totally messed up making the 360 version, its not even rts.

    Anyway so many people would worship you as a god and make a religion based on you if this would worked even if it only played one mission and crashed lol.

    Kakuto Chojin would be an easy game to test for sure.

    I've had success editing the game on a xbox without trouble.

    there is even a darkness stage that would be good for gpu testing.

    However I did all this on the xbox itself, no pc.

    Yes I was using linux.

    Any chance on Fable getting compatibility? I have Lost Chapters, just my XBox decided to go haywire. From what I can guess, it no longer recognizes the firmware it originally came with. It was a first gen XBox...so I heard they were prone to Software malfunctions if played during a big storm and the power failed....Apparently my cat turned on the system last night during the storm...

    Anyway, any chance on Fable: The Lost Chapters?

    All I care for is Mechassault it was the best game ever to be played on xbox. It was actually the first game to be played on xbox. And for me it will be the last game to play on this console or emu system. What do I need to learn to be of help to this project? just throw a couple of words/links, I'm going to rewrite the software so it works on 6-cores (Just kidding, I have no programming experience except glosomatheia)

    uh FailLatinoBlog that's jet grind radio not jet set radio future. jsrf was xbox only and is it's sequel, dreamcast could never handle it's graphics.

    10. Custom Robo(the GC Version)

    and many more.......look all ive got to say is if you guys were REAL hardcore old school gamers youd be out looking for this stuff instead of sitting here waiting for some random people to finis0h things because your too lazy. many of these games are all isos and work fine without an emulator and run on most computers these days. i know a couple i have ive seen on this request list, and hell, im already playin them! so go look around go to pirate bay if you have to but just remember you dont always need an emu for a game just look it up and research it.

      hey, retard, if you were a hardcore fan you'd know that the "console" version that you use is actually the PC version since every game you've listed has at one point or another released the game on pc.

      NO console ISO will be playable on PC without emulation. PERIOD. no matter how hardcore you pretend to be it doesn't change that console games are coded specifically for console software.

      these people want the xbox version of games, not a PC port. if you go to the pirate bay and look around, you'll find PC ports of all the games you list. but keep fooling yourself into think you aren't the retard, retard.

    Hey can someone tell me is futurama only playable on cxbx r163 or on some else revision... I have r163 and it's working but characters are black and sound is realy annoying so i turn off my speakers ;)
    One more thing...Can someone tell me is on some newer revision than r163 Whacked playable or not... Revs like r170-173 maybe ;)
    Anyway tnx and i hope u'll progress even more whit this emu..

    i wonder if this emulator can run the outrun xbox BETA version would love to see chihiro emulation on my(A) pc and this emulator is the best bet on getting chihiro emulation on the go you should merge with mame devs they've got post screens and 4th screen ingame arcade version to boot in mame ??? :0
